Andrew Schenk: LH Starting pitcher with a “rubber arm” and power bat
Andrew Schenk is a left-handed pitcher with a “rubber arm” out of Vancouver, Washington. After a successful season in the Puerto Rican Instructional Baseball League (1.80 era and 0.70 whip), Andrew took his career overseas to Western Australia for the 2016-2017 winter. After another successful season both on the bump (7-1, 2.56 era) and at the dish (.459 BA, .811 SLG%) Andrew signed on to play for the Stockerau Cubs of Baseball League Austria, Austria’s top division. As the season comes to an end in early September, 2017, Andrew is amongst league pitching (9-2, 2.66 era) and hitting leaders (4.68 BA, 5HR, 0 SO).
Andrew is now looking to continue his overseas career for the 2017-2018 winter as well as the 2018 summer. He would be a great addition to any team seeking a durable pitcher who can also contribute at the plate. He enjoys coaching and would be open to helping out with a youth team in addition to playing.

“I would be more than happy to recommend Andrew. He has done a great job for us here in the Puerto Rico Instuctional league. Andrew is a hard worker who has a “rubber arm” he has displayed good character and would not cause any trouble or embarras the team in any way. Very pleasant to be around. It is our day off today, so I will give you stats when I see our stat guy tomorrow. I believe he is in the top two for innings pitched due to his ability to rebound quickly.Just so you know, I have 35 years of baseball experience. Former MLB player and head college coach. Not going to BS you.”
“Andrew is currently playing for me and is not just an outstanding pitcher and player, he is a citizen of outstanding character too. He will represent his country and any team he plays for to a very high standard as his work ethic is very good. Whether he is playing or not, he works out every day on his skills. I feel he can pass this on to his teammates and others he will work with. He will be an asset to which ever country selects him to play for. I would take him for my team if i was managing this year in a heartbeat. “
Andrew is looking for a club for the 2017-2018 winter and the 2018 summer season. He would like a team to provide flights, accommodations, and set him up with either a salary or job.
