Jeremy Schreiber – C/P/Utility and aspiring coach willing to pay flights

Jeremy Schreiber is a catcher out of California who finished his college career at the University of the Cumberlands (NAIA) in 2015. Ever since Jeremy has continued to develop his game competing in summer and winter leagues while also gaining experience as a coach. In 2017 Jeremy took his career overseas for the first time to play with the Therwil Flyers of the Switzerland NLA (D1). Unfortunately the Flyers could only bring him for three months due to visa restrictions but in that time he managed to hit 3 home runs while knocking in 15 RBI supported by a .364 batting average. Jeremy also was picked up by the International Stars to play at Finkstonball in Austria during a break in the Swiss season.

In high school Jeremy was a pitcher in his junior year and in 2016 his career as a pitcher was revived when he saw regular innings while playing for the Virginia Marlins in a summer collegiate league. In 2017 he pitched at two tournaments in Europe and threw scoreless 5 innings for the Flyers, surrendering no hits while striking out 9. He throws a 4-seam, 2-seam, splitter, and a cutter.

Jeremy has been building his coaching resume during the offseason and is the current head coach of a 4U baseball team in California and has multiple coaching offers from Southern California high schools.

Jeremy is excited about the possibility of playing overseas and helping a club from the youth program up to the men’s team. Any club interested in a utility player who works well with youth is encouraged to reach out to Jeremy for an interview.
