Jonathan Grishman: Infielder with International Experience in Puerto Rico Seeking Club for 2018 Season
Jonathan Grishman is an infielder out of Slidell, Louisiana. He played college ball at Lincoln University where he hit .318 throughout his college career and was nationally ranked as the “Toughest to Strikeout” for all of NCAA Division II Baseball. After graduating in 2013, Jonathan played a season in the California Winter League in Palm Springs with the Canada A’s in 2014. Following the CWL season, Jonathan got picked up by the White Sands Pupfish in the Pecos League for his first professional experience.
After one season in the Pecos League, Jonathan went on to play in the Texas Winter League with the Laredo Apaches. For the Apaches, Jonathan hit .333 and was one of his team’s top hitters. He did well enough to get picked up by the Watertown Bucks in the East Coast League, but unfortunately the league folded soon after. In 2016, Jonathan played in Puerto Rico with the PRIBL Turistas where he batted .308.
Now that Jonathan has gotten to experience baseball overseas, he is looking to continue his travels and get an opportunity to play in Europe for the coming season. He has experience coaching youth players up to college players and would be willing to coach youth alongside of playing.

“Jon is a very dedicated worker who takes pride in how he plays. What I have noticed about Jonathan is that he is very disciplined in his work habits and strives to improve. Have not had any attitude or off the field issues at all. Gives you a good days work no matter what. Run through a wall for you type player. Obviously his parents raised him right.”
James Hayes: Pitching Coach for the PRIBL Turistas – email@example.com
“Jon is a good player as he works extra hard at his skills by taking BP and grounders after practice along with his teammates. Under my watchful eye, he has been throwing extra bull pens as well for his pitching skills. He has coached the past three years as well and and would be good for any countries youth program in their developement of players. Jon would represent any team he plays for well”
Jonathan is looking for a club overseas who is willing to offer flights, accommodations, and a small salary or job to cover living expenses.
