Madison Shaw is a left handed power hitter and utility infielder currently in her senior year at Fordham University of the Atlantic 10 Conference (NCAA I). In 2017 she had a year for the record books hitting .385 with 12 doubles and 15 home runs, 74 RBI and an OBP of .475. For her accomplishments Madi was awarded First Team All-Conference, NFCA First Team All-Region, ECAC First Team, Atlantic-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, and was runner-up for conference Player of the Year.

After an injury plagued freshman year of college, Madi worked her way into the starting lineup and never looked back, hitting a combined 24 doubles, 25 home runs and 113 RBI in her sophomore and junior seasons.

Madi on her future softball goals:

“In my senior season I hope to exceed all of my numbers from last season with the help of my team. I’m very attached to softball and want to continue playing while I still can. I want to explore the world and experience playing competitive ball outside of the United States.”

Madi also has some coaching experience as the head coach of a U18 summer team in Massachusetts and is open to coaching youth overseas in addition to playing.

Any club in need of a utility infielder/catcher with a middle of the order bat and coaching experience is encouraged to reach out to Madi with expressions of interest.
