Megan Dortch – Over 340 Innings Pitching in NCAA I Softball
Megan Dortch is a four year NCAA I starting pitcher in which her final three years with the University of Nevada-Reno Wolfpack she racked up over 340 innings pitched, 29 complete games and 6 shutouts in 67 starts.
She throws a curve ball, rise ball, screw ball, drop ball, changeup, and a fastball ranging from 63-65 mph. She enjoys coaching and is open to coaching a youth team for any club that is seeking a starting pitcher.
Megan has not hit since high school but is confident with a little practice she would be comfortable doing so again and can help out a team offensively. Since graduating in 2015, Megan has not competed. However she continues to throw regularly and throws live batting practice. So she is in game shape and ready to go.
“I want to continue to play a sport I love and be able to experience and see new places. I love traveling and there is no better way to do than playing softball at the same time. I am also hoping to compare and share information in order to become a better athlete and give back to the local community.”
