Testimonials

“I have coached the game of baseball at the college level for 20 years, with 14 of those years as a head coach. I can honestly say that Clayton was the best assistant coach that I’ve worked with. He has valuable coaching experience at the junior college and division one level, but more importantly, he’s loyal, dependable, and professional. I would have no reservations in leaving a team that I coach in his care. I strongly recommend him to you and your program.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any additional information for Clayton. I can be reached at (808) 772-8861. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I have thoroughly enjoyed my association with Clayton Carson, and I’m sure you will as well.”
-David Eldredge, 20+ Years of College Baseball Coaching Experience

“Coach Carson’s leadership skills and his ability to direct young men was evident from the moment he took over our program. His is a teacher and role model. The way in which he garnered the respect of our team in such a short period of time speaks volumes about his character.
In addition to his impeccable character, Coach Carson knows and understands the game of baseball. He has been around the sport for a number of years and has the inherent gift of being able to transfer his knowledge to the student-athletes, helping each one to perform at his highest level.
It is without reservation I recommend Coach Carson. He has proven his ability to coach at the NCAA’s highest level of competition. I encourage you to contact me with any questions you may have.”

Sincerely,

About Me

Along with my true student of the game approach, I believe my knowledge, skills, passion, work ethic and experience as an International Head Coach, International player, professional baseball scout, college baseball coach and player make me the best possible candidate to lead a baseball program at any level to success on and off the field.
Most recently, 2014-2015 season, I have both coached and played International baseball in both Austria and Australia. This incredible experience along with my extensive baseball background has prepared me to be successful in any international environment.
During the 2012 baseball season, I held the position of Head Baseball Coach at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. We were a Division 1 program competing in the Summit League. Unfortunately, the University’s Board of Trustees made the decision to discontinue the Baseball program following the 2012 season due to a lack of funding and a shift to a new conference that did not support baseball.
Amid the negative distraction of shutting down the program that season, as well as managing the program without the help of assistant coaches, I was able to lead our team to the Summit League Tournament for the first time since 2009. Our team success was accomplished through discipline, attention to detail, an expectation of excellence and instilling a sense of responsibility and accountability in the players that motivated them to dig deep and excel individually and as a team.
Prior to my position as Head Coach, I served five seasons as an assistant coach at the college level at Southern Utah University and Saddleback College, in Mission Viejo, California. As an assistant coach I strived to elevate our program through tireless recruiting, improvements of facilities to elite status via fundraising and demanding the best of our student-athletes in every aspect of life.
During 2013 i was employed by the Toronto Blue Jays as an Associate Scout in the talent rich Southern California Area. My experience scouting has no doubt served to further hone my skills as a recruiter and talent evaluator.
Given the opportunity to Coach Baseball Internationally I will bring my leadership, strong competitive nature and dedication to develop a program that is built on positive community involvement, strong athletic fundimentals, team character, accountability and pride that will lead to habitually competing for championships. It is my goal to mentor and motivate these young men to achieve their highest level of performance in all areas while developing confidence, perseverance and character that will be the foundation of their life long success.
Thank you for taking the time to consider me as a candidate and I look forward to bringing my baseball knowledge and passion to the International Baseball Community.
Sincerely,

Clayton Carson
