To Whom It May Concern:

It has been a pleasure and privilege to have coached and worked with Eric Brenk over the last nine years. As owner of Core Athletics baseball training facility, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Eric in all aspects of his game. He has played for teams within our program and we have worked together on his individual skills.

Eric possesses a strong work ethic and is highly motivated to succeed. He has been diligent to improve every day, always going the extra mile to maximize training. As a result, he has made great strides physically, to reach his goal to play baseball at the collegiate level. In addition, he demonstrates a high level of maturity by making decisions that align with his priorities and goals.

Baseball is about individual efforts within a team game. Eric is a true team player in that he will play anywhere the team needs him. He has gone to great lengths to improve at various positions to best help the team succeed. As players look up to him, he has elevated those around him and inspired them to reach their own goals.

Additionally, Eric has worked alongside me in many of our camps and clinics. Through these experiences he has gained insight into improving his own game and learned how to communicate effectively in order that others may learn. He has always been professional with his communication and in his appearance. He has shown great patience with young athletes and connects well with his peers to work toward common goals.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that Eric will be successful in whatever he pursues. His presence in our program is greatly missed and I wish him all the best in the future.

About Me

I have always had a strong work ethic and love for the game, as evident by my desire to keep playing after college, regardless of whether I get an opportunity with a Major League organization.

In 2014, I played shortstop for the Bad Homburg Hornets in the German Bundesliga, After the Bundesliga season, I joined the German National Team to compete in the European Championships. I was a 3-year starter at third base for Wofford College, competing in the Southern Conference in NCAA Division 1. I am not limited to the infield though, and I would be more than able and willing to play anywhere.

I also have some pitching experience, but I never pitched in college games. I made two appearances on the mound in Bundesliga games in 2014 and was relatively effective in both.

I have family in Germany, as well as a set of grandparents that are German immigrants. I currently hold both a German and U.S. passport.

I also have coaching experience, especially with younger kids, both as a personal and team instructor/coach. I would be more than willing to coach if that would help me find somewhere to play.

I would love to set up a Skype interview with any clubs that are interested and would like to ask me some more questions.
