Riley Moore: Starting pitcher currently in Australia (SIGNED FOR 2018 SUMMER)
SIGNED IN FRANCE FOR 2018
Riley Moore is a starting pitcher who recently finished his sophomore season at Diablo Valley College and decided he wanted to continue with his baseball career overseas despite receiving some offers from four-year colleges in the U.S. He is currently playing in the highly competitive Queensland State League in Australia for the Redlands Rays and is now looking to continue overseas in Europe for the 2018 summer.
Riley describes his pitching repertoire as throwing a cut fastball at around 85-87 mph, a changeup at 72-75 mph, and a slider between 77-79 mph. This past season at DVC, Riley led his team in innings, ERA, strikeouts, and saves.
Riley is excited about the opportunity to see the world, experience different cultures, and meet new people. Eventually he is looking to make his way back to the U.S. to play professionally, so he’s looking to use this opportunity to continue push himself to new levels. Since Riley is young and may not have the experience as someone who has played pro ball or even NCAA Division I baseball, he is willing to pay for his own flights if the situation is right.

“RILEY MOORE was the best pitcher on the 2017 Diablo Valley College Baseball team. The team overall was not very good but RILEY still excelled… Always a strike thrower
and ultra competitive, Moore used an 84 MPH fastball along with a hard cutter and curveball to get hitters out. About halfway through the season he carried a no-hitter
into the 8th inning versus Sierra College in route to a 3-0 win. Riley was the best starter and closer (when he was available) for the DVC team. I highly recommend him to any team looking for pitchers to help their team win!”

If the team were to offer accommodations and a small salary to cover living expenses, Riley would be willing to cover his own flights if the situation were right. He is open to hearing all offers.
